Ali Swenson is a journalist currently reporting on misinformation for The Associated Press in New York. Her work has appeared in Phoenix New Times and the Los Angeles Times, among others. Swenson holds a master's degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, where she received a Pulitzer Traveling Fellowship as one of the top five students in her class.

As a print reporter, Swenson has dug through 2020 election donor rolls, traced the life story of a deported U.S. military veteran, weaseled her way inside Arizona's multi-million-dollar medical marijuana industry and biked to work in Los Angeles just to prove it was possible. In the summer of 2019, her work investigating federal nonprofit filings and Palm Beach County sheriff's records led to explosive findings on the accused sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Swenson has also worked as a freelance audio producer for a range of podcast projects, including the Center for Public Integrity's premier podcast series "The Heist."
